Why I'm Running for Congress in 2026:

Hey everyone, Martin Etwop here. I recently sat down for an interview on Hank's Think Tank where I talked about some of the work I've been doing and, more importantly, shared my decision to run for Congress again in 2026, representing Texas's second congressional district. I wanted to take a moment to share with you why I'm taking this step.

For me, this isn't just about politics. It's about accountability. I've been deeply involved in holding our government responsible, from local school boards to the highest levels of federal and state government. I believe it's crucial that we, as citizens, stay engaged and demand transparency from our elected officials. I've been fighting against things like "lawfare," where legal systems are used to suppress opposing views. One example that really struck me was when the Biden campaign used an anti-KKK law to sue a "Trump train." That's not right, and it's why I'm so passionate about protecting our freedoms.

One of the biggest issues I'm focusing on is border security. I believe we need to take decisive action. That means shutting down the border, deporting illegal immigrants, and reforming our visa program. We also need to empower states to defend their own borders. It's a complex issue, but one that demands a strong, clear response.

Now, about my 2026 congressional run. Texas's second district is vast, and campaigning here won't be easy. But I'm committed to bringing sane, accountable representation to our community. I believe we need leaders who are truly dedicated to serving the people, not special interests.
